Somehow, I thought working in the ministry would be easier than working in the secular world.  I was grossly naive in thinking that.  Working with, and in ministry presents such a unique set of talents.  I have struggled with going from seccular "bottom line" to worrying more about doing what the Lord would have me do.  In the past, you could quickly get to making decisions based on money.  The ministry world has been unique to me because I sometimes slip into "making revenue" or increasing sales when you would think that I am speaking in a completely foreign language within the ministry.  So, it's important to say that while revenue and donations support the ministry, it's important to balance that with a spirit of caring and love.  Not easy for me.  How about for you?
